You know that from time to time I like to show you DYI ideas I find in the web from people very imaginative and so kind also to prepare easy tutorials about how to make them. Of course, from all those crafts I prefer those based on recycled clothing.

If we want our environment cleaner and sustainable, we must start with ourselves not rejecting what we no longer use and giving our clothes a new opportunity to be useful.

I already showed you in September how to make a bag with a shirt recycled. Today I have for you another very easy idea, today from Sincerely Kinsey .

With an old shirt you can make a turban headband. ¿What do you need? A shirt, scissors, a tape measure and a sewing machine or needle and thread .

Yo can begins cutting a strip of knit . You can use the bottom part to make it easier the cutting of a straight piece, about 46×10 inches.

Once cut, fold in half lengthwise and sew the ends together, creating a long tube. To form the knot in the turban, lay it down flat. Twist in the middle, creating the infinity sign.

Then twist again and fold in half, creating a knot. stitch the back layers together to keep the knot from unfolding. This will also prevent the back from scrunching up when being worn.

Easier with a step by step photos.
